Here's the line up for this week. And yes, I'm in trial again:

147th JUDICIAL DISTRICT/ JUDGE FLOWERS

Defendant: Philip Byrd
Offense: Theft
Prosecutors: Ali Crowley and Sandra Avila Ramirez


331st JUDICIAL DISTRICT/ VISITING JUDGE PRIEST

Defendant: Tom Delay
Offense: Criminal conspiracy / Money laundering
Prosecutors: Gary Cobb, Beverly Matthews, Holly Taylor, and Steve Brand
Defense attorney: Dick Deguerin

  1. Not to slight the other bad guys on the docket this week, but you will keep us updated with the latest on Delay trial, right? Please?

  2. Edith Ann, I will most certainly let you know as soon as I hear there's a verdict. I probably can't give day-to-day updates just because I won't be observing the trial (in trial myself, and too much of my own work to do!). Best bet for that is regular updates on the Statesman. And you can bet I'll be checking in there frequently!
