I won!. Okay, okay... I came fifth!!

Giving myself and my colleague from the defense bar Gene Anthes a little recognition for our abject silliness (he started it!):

His motion to stop me using my English accent, and my response, placed fifth in The Five Best Motions of the Year, says AboveTheLaw blog.

  2. I understand there will be some realignment in the DA's office in 2010. What are the reasons behind this and how will it affect cases to which ada's have already been assigned.

  3. You may be asking the wrong person, me just being a lowly minion.:) So if you want the official version/reasoning, call someone higher up the food chain, but from what I'm seeing, it's just a fairly routine shuffle of people from one division or court to another. I think the idea is to give ADAs experience in different areas. As far as I know, though, I'm staying put for now, which makes me happy.

  4. It's ok, ATL says you lost on a technicality --the motion was never filed. I'm sure you would have won if it did!

  5. Thanks RG. Now I need to think of some more of those motions to file. I am now officially taking suggestions.

  6. That was awesome. Your accent does help with the ladies but the boots are what bring the case home. The things lawyers do to win a case. Love it. I just love your humor.
